we are planning some great adventures for the scouts this spring and summer.

Pull out the sleeping bag

Throw fresh batteries in that light

Dust off the backpack

Let’s explore the outdoors

The following two outdoor events are approaching

1) May 2nd – May 4th Surviving Fort Ancient.  We will be teaching the Scouts how ancient Native Americans lived, building Tepees, using flint and steel and practice our Tomohawk throwing skills (parent approved tomahawks).

2) June 15th – June 17th at Cub Word.  Cub Resident Camp. This will be my 4th time going this year.  I have as much fun as the scouts.  It is packed with fun and activities.  Campers are grouped with boys their age and follow a planned program schedule that includes BB gun shooting, swimming, archery, and nature each day. In addition, they will take part in several activities in their area and each age-level program is unique.

I am attaching two flyers.  I will also be available to answer questions at tomorrows B&G banquet.  I will be taking reservations for these two great events.

See you out there.

Pack 415 has a wonderful scouting program that includes something for every boy.  The best way to learn about our program is to attend one of our "Welcome to Scouting" nights which are typically held in the fall.  That said, you can also take a peek at this website to see all the fun things we do.  Lastly, you can request some information from us and we will reach out to you to answer your questions

Welcome to the home page of Cub Scout Pack 415 in Milford, Ohio. We're a very active Cub Scout Pack who is chartered by Milford First United Methodist Church.

We're associated with the Dan Beard Council who prepares more than 30,000 young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Within the Dan Beard Council we are part of the Blue Jacket District.

The Committee and Leaders of Cub Scout Pack 415 are committed to providing a quality, year-round program of Cub Scouting activities. Special emphasis is placed on character development, skill development, spiritual grown, citizenship and family. We do this through a wide variety of activities and meetings. Activities can range from small group Den meetings, community service projects to large multi-day family campouts.

The Boy Scouts of America began Cub Scouting as a program for younger boys more than 75 years ago. The purposes of Cub Scouting state that Parents, Leaders and Organizations work together to achieve the following:

Influence the development of character and encourage spiritual growth;

Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship;

Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body;

Improve understanding within the family;

Strengthen the ability to get along with and to respect others;

Foster a sense of personal achievement b developing new interest and skills;

Show how to be helpful and to do one's best;

Provide fun and exciting new things to do;

Prepare Cubs to become Boy Scouts.

We at Pack 415 "Do Our Best" to fulfill those purposes in every thing we do.
